Megan Ferrigan Healy

Megan Ferrigan Healy

Megan Ferrigan Healy joined DP&F in 2003 and practices law in the Intellectual Property department and is a member of the Hospitality Group. Megan's practice focuses on the full range of trademark and copyright protection. Megan provides clients with intellectual property counseling, due diligence, licensing, trademark clearance and registration worldwide, as well as trademark appeals, oppositions, and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board. In addition, Megan assists clients with their trademark and copyright enforcement and protection strategies, including representation in litigation matters.

Megan received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, in May of 2003, and her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis, in 2000. Megan was a member of the Emory University International Law Review and served as managing editor of the journal in 2002-2003. In 2003, Megan worked as a legal intern at The Coca-Cola Company in the company's trademark department. She was on the Dean's List in 2002 and 2003 and graduated with High Honors. A native of Napa, Megan attended grade school and high school in the valley.

Prior to joining the firm, Megan spent time living and working in Rome, Italy, as an intern at the United States Embassy, Science & Technology division. During law school, Megan worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Ronald T.L. Young of Napa Superior Court and as a summer associate for Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty.

In her free time, Megan enjoys playing sports, working on her house, and volunteering as an assistant coach for the Napa High School varsity girls' softball team.
