Based on trademark filings with the USPTO for the first quarter of 2007, industry publication Trademark Insider again identified J. Scott Gerien, Esq., the head of DP&F’s intellectual property group, as one of the top 50 individual trademark filers in the U.S. Gerien was number 27 on the list after having finished up 2006 as number 39. “The North Bay economy is strong and this increase in trademark filings by our clients, which represent some of the top companies in Sonoma and Napa counties, reflects this,” said Gerien.
