EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK UPDATE SERVICE
Few documents in the workplace are as important as a company's Employee Handbook. The contents of that Handbook have legal significance and are often utilized in employment litigation. Poorly or incorrectly drafted handbooks can result in embarrassing or damaging evidence being introduced against your organization, or can result in advertent obligations being owed to employees.
In order to assist clients in ensuring that their employment policies are legally compliant, strategically developed and in keeping with the operations of your organization, Dickenson Peatman & Fogarty's employment attorneys developed a review and subscription update service. For a flat fee that is competitive with non-legal handbook services, the Firm will assist you in preparing and revising your initial handbook. This includes an initial review of the handbook, as well as revisions and changes to ready the handbook for your formatting and publication to employees.
The Firm then provides an annual subscription service for an even lower annual fee. Under the terms of this service, you will receive email alerts throughout the year informing you about changes in the law that affect your rights and obligations vis-à-vis your employees. Near the end of each year, our employment attorneys will then contact you to discuss any changes that need to be made to your handbook, an assist you in preparing them.
