Christopher J. Passarelli Appointed Vice Chair of California Lawyers Association Business Law Section

DP&F is proud to announce that Partner Christopher J. Passarelli has been appointed Vice Chair of Member Services of the Business Law Section (BLS) of the California Lawyers Association (CLA) for the 2022 term.

The California Lawyers Association is a nonprofit, voluntary professional legal organization, comprising over 60,000 licensed attorneys throughout California. Its 17 Sections represent the major areas of California legal practice, with the Business Law Section numbering more than 5,500 active attorney members.

Chris, a partner in DP&F’s Intellectual Property group, has been practicing in the areas of trademark, trade secret, copyright and business law since 2005, in a range of industries which include: internet and high technology, agribusiness, food, wine, and arts and entertainment.

Chris’s term as Vice Chair will begin at the conclusion of this year’s CLA Annual Meeting in September, 2021. With this appointment, he continues his longstanding service to the Business Law Section, and builds upon his prior successful terms as the past Chair of the Agribusiness Standing Committee in 2010, his term as Vice Chair of Programs and Publications in 2013 and 2014, and his term as Vice Chair of Marketing of the Executive Committee in 2015.
