Former ABC District Adninistrator Michael Mann Joins Dickenson, Peatman & Forgaty
Santa Rosa, CA – Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty announced today that Michael Mann has joined the firm’s Alcohol Beverage Law Group. Michael Mann recently retired as the District Administrator of the Santa Rosa Office for the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (“ABC”), which was responsible for the California Counties of Napa, Sonoma, Lake, Marin and Mendocino.
“I have worked with Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty from the regulatory side for approximately 20 years. They have always provided outstanding service to the alcoholic beverage industry, and I am honored to join them” said Mann.
Mann, who was with the ABC for over twenty years, has been involved in the alcoholic beverage licensing process, enforcement and legislation. Michael has worked closely with the federal Alcohol & Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (“TTB”) and every city and county agency within the Santa Rosa District that is involved in alcoholic beverage licensing.

Mann joins Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty’s Alcoholic Beverage Law group, which handles such matters as ABC license transfers and new ABC license applications, ABC protest hearings and disciplinary proceedings, TTB basic permit applications, custom crush arrangements including alternating proprietorships, related California and federal record keeping, establishment of wine appellations, labeling matters, alcohol beverage franchise laws pertaining to distributor appointments and terminations and other alcohol beverage compliance matters.
