  • Biography

    Brett Leininger is an associate in DP&F’s Intellectual Property and Litigation groups. He focuses on trademark and unfair competition matters, and his practice includes all aspects of brand protection, from prosecuting trademark applications at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to enforcing clients’ intellectual property rights in federal courts. Brett also has experience litigating general civil matters in state courts and advising clients on contracts involving intellectual property and trade secrets.

    Brett earned his B.A. in English and History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. In law school, he was a student attorney in the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic and a Notes Editor of the Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review.
