Diego E. Garcia is an associate in DP&F’s litigation practice group. Diego’s practice includes trust and estates litigation, commercial business, real estate and construction litigation.
Before joining DP&F, Diego worked as an associate at a boutique complex litigation firm in San Francisco where his practice included insurance coverage and bad faith, property insurance, and general business litigation.
Diego attended Golden Gate University School of Law. A fluent Spanish speaker, he was twice president of the GGU International Law Society and spent a summer abroad at Magdalen College, University of Oxford studying English Legal Systems and Comparative Property Law. He served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mary E. Wiss of the Superior Court of San Francisco.
Diego is passionate about civic and charitable involvement, and participates in numerous charitable events in Sonoma and Napa, fundraising for a diverse range of causes. In addition, he is an active member of the Order of St. John, a medical charity focused on eye care.
Born and raised in the City of Sonoma, Diego received his Masters and Bachelor’s degrees from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He is a proud graduate of Justin-Siena High School in Napa, where he is a member of the alumni council.
