Lisa is an associate in the labor and employment department. Lisa’s practice covers discrimination, harassment and retaliation in the workplace, as well as wage and hour law. Lisa provides risk management counsel to corporate employers, specifically by promoting reduced legal exposure with effective contract strategies.
Prior to joining DP&F, Lisa was an associate with the Louderback Law Firm in San Francisco, and served as in-house counsel for a public telecommunications company for over four years.
Lisa is a former owner of a popular burger joint in South Lake Tahoe – the Sno-Flake Drive In. As such, she has a personal appreciation of the real world challenges faced by many employers today, particularly with regard to small business management, federal, state and local labor and employment law compliance, understanding the importance of real estate contracts, appreciating the environmental impacts of running a business, marketing for maximum exposure and minimum expense and achieving ADA compliance – to name a few.
A proud mother of two, Lisa cherishes her family and traveling with them. In her spare time, she might be found in the garden, in the kitchen, on the tennis court or walking/hiking with her dogs.
