  • Biography

    Jack Gonzalez Jr. is an attorney in DP&F’s Business practice group. His practice includes business contracts, asset purchases and sales and related due diligence. Prior to joining DP&F, Jack practiced as a structured finance attorney for Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, in their Los Angeles office, handling securitization and repurchase facility transactions.

    Jack is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to beginning his career in law, Jack served as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Captain.

    During law school, Jack served on the Executive Board of the Virginia Law Veterans where he planned and participated in events and fundraisers with philanthropic organizations such as Puppies Behind Bars and the Travis Manion Foundation, which supports mental health and wellness services for veterans and survivors. He is currently a law school admissions support ambassador for Service to School, an organization that provides free application counseling to veterans and active service members.

    A third-generation Soldier, Jack is a native of Northern California, and grew up at and around Travis Air Force Base. In addition to reading and playing chess, Jack loves hiking and fishing and spending time outdoors. His favorite thing to do is spend time with his daughter.
