DP&F Of Counsel Richard Idell will present “Website Accessibility / ADA Compliance & Cyber Threat Insurance” for the Sonoma County Vintners on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022.
The program will overview legal and insurance issues pertaining to website accessibility addressed under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), in addition to practical preparations and insurance coverage for cyber-attacks. This seminar is in response to several lawsuits regarding ADA compliant websites, and cyber-attacks to wineries, and it will outline the importance of website accessibility, offer recommendations for proactively avoiding costly settlements and explore options for cyber insurance protections in case of a cyber-attack.
This seminar is part of the Sonoma County Vintner’s Sonoma County Industry Opportunity Network (SCION) academic program and is open to members of the Sonoma County Vintners. The event will take place in the Sonoma County Vintners Boardroom, at 400 Aviation Boulevard in Santa Rosa, and registration is available here.
